Lilith

Shipping calculated at checkout.

Lilith was Adam's first wife who was banished from the garden of Eden because she refused to repress her sexual power and desires. Lilith was created equal to Adam and she refused to submit to him.

In astrology, the Lilith asteroid's placement in a birth chart points to where an individual will step into her hurt feminine (when triggered) and seek lower vibrational power such as revenge. Lilith represents our inner child who cannot be tamed.

This painting suggests that the siren has chosen to embrace her sexual power by not conforming to the conditioning that has been pushed upon her since birth. She is learning not to use her power in exchange with fear. She is coming to terms with the fact that just because she has the power doesn't mean she has to use it- that is part of consciousness.
